Canada's public broadcaster, CBC, has made several significant announcements recently. It has appointed Ariel Yang as the new head of digital content, which includes microdramas. Additionally, the CBC has published a Northbeat report analyzing the recent midterm elections in the United States. Furthermore, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is negotiating with Germany for the acquisition of submarines, with initial orders for 8 and potential future orders for four more. Defence analysts warn that lowering submarine procurement could impact Canada's influence with suppliers.
